Only 02 Small Industrial Estates viz: Small Industrial Estate Sukkur and Larkana were inherited from the defunct West Pakistan Small Industries and Handicrafts Development Corporation (WPSIC).
In order to promote Sindh’s handicrafts and to provide a platform to the working craftsmen & women, SSIC has also established 07 Artisan Colonies throughout Sindh.
As per commitment SSIC has established 19 Small Industrial Estates (SIEs), 03 Industrial Parks (IPs) almost in all district headquarters of Sindh Province.
In order to facilitate poor craftsmen and to provide them marketing opportunities this Corporation has established 07 Handicrafts Shops/Display Centres at different places of Sindh Province including Federal Capital (Islamabad).
